What is Amiga North Thames?
Donate money to the NSPCC for free!!!!!
A.N.T is a bunch of Amiga computing enthusiasts.
We meet on a regular basis and discuss all the latest goings on in the world of the Amiga computer.
Contrary to popular opinon, the Amiga computer survives with new games, new
applications and hardware appearing on a regular basis.
Our regular meetings are taken up catching up on all the latest news and
views on the Amiga scene over the last month, plus we throw in the odd
product
demonstration such as Amiga OS3.5, Photogenics, Wordworth 7 and loads of other stuff!
Of course it doesn't just end there, because we also cram in the occassional head to head gaming experience such as Quake and Napalm amongst others.
Most importantly ANT exists for providing help to others on a wide range of Amiga computing problems. For example, do you need help in Towering your
Amiga 1200 ? What about adding a hard disk? CD-rom? Extra ram? PPC card?, OS3.5? Internet? Software?
- No problem that`s what we are here for.
Amiga North Thames has also been previlaged to be the first Amiga usergroup invited to view the first preview copy Amiga Active Magazine. We have also been fortunate enough to be the first in the world to see a preview of Dark Millennia from Crystal
Interactive Software. Even better still, we occasionally have the odd one or two Amiga celebrity pay us a visit too!
